A large number of iSeries clients have architectures that mix standard 3rd party software packages (e.g. Eri Bancaire's Banking Package Olympic or Midas from Misys) with their own specific developments. Due to the varying impact of changes, it is often daunting to  integrate new versions of 3rd party applications.
